Day 1 Arrival
Meet Carolyn Forster and your Tour Manager at the Hilton York Hotel. This evening enjoy dinner with your fellow stitchers.

Day 2 Guided Tour of York and York’s Christmas Markets
The medieval walled city of York is beautifully decorated this time of year, and what better way to explore than on a guided walking tour with a local guide? Stroll through York’s snickelways, uncover its medieval history, and visit several fabric shops. End at the iconic St Nicholas Fair, where you will have the rest of the day at leisure to wander through the alpine chalets, enjoy the scents of spiced mulled wine and delicious food, and pick up some festive goodies.
Day 3 Quilters Guild Museum and Workshop
We start today with a visit to the Quilters Guild Museum to see some of their historic collection. With one of the curators, we will see how the collection shows various styles and techniques from across the ages. This afternoon, we will return to the hotel for our first workshop with Carolyn.

Day 4 Workshop and York
Today we will continue our projects with Carolyn at the hotel. You can also explore York at your own leisure. Why not visit York Castle Museum and admire their costume and textile display or return to the Christmas Markets for some more shopping? This evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner together.

Day 5 Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before saying goodbye to your fellow stitchers as your festive stitching holiday comes to an end.
